<h1>Parties in a combination must be notified and given a chance to be heard under Regulation 24 before decisions.</h1> Regulation 24 of the CCI (Procedure In Regard To The Transaction Of Business Relating To Combinations) Regulations, 2011, mandates that when the Competition Commission finds it necessary to provide parties involved in a combination an opportunity to be heard, it will instruct the Secretary to notify these parties. The notice will specify the period within which the parties must appear before the Commission, as per the directives issued by the Commission, before making any decisions under section 31 of the Act.
