The regulation requires the Commission to provide parties an opportunity to submit comments, objections or suggestions on a settlement proposal within a prescribed response period, after sharing a non-confidential summary that includes the Commission's prima facie opinion, the Director General's findings, identified competition concerns, alleged contraventions, and the settlement proposal with an explanation of how it addresses those concerns. Responses must supply party and authorised representative contact details, an authenticated statement supported by documents, a brief summary, and any other information to assist the Commission in determining settlement terms.
