Notices may be served personally, by electronic mail, registered post, speed post, courier, or on authorised representatives at furnished addresses; the furnishing party must update records and service at recorded addresses or electronic mail is sufficient. Postal or courier endorsement of refusal proves service by refusal. Electronic mail is deemed delivered when properly addressed and enters the recipient's information system. The Commission may adopt substituted service where the addressee is unavailable, may deem service sufficient if registered post acknowledgment is not returned within thirty days, may affix notices at the ordinary residence when the addressee is untraceable, and may order advertisement when avoidance of service is suspected.
