Use of commitment information enables regulatory reliance on applicant submissions and cross use against non parties in inquiries.

Where a commitment order is revoked or withdrawn, the Commission and the Director General may rely on information and documents submitted by the Commitment Applicant; if a Commitment Application is rejected or withdrawn, the Commission and the Director General may use information from other sources; the Commission may use information provided by a Commitment Applicant against non parties, and facts established or admitted in related proceedings are deemed admissions by the Commitment Applicant for the proposed closure proceedings.
