Right to comment on commitment proposals: submissions accepted after publication of a non confidential summary; public consultation permitted. The Commission must provide an opportunity to submit comments to the party concerned, the Director General or other parties by sharing a non confidential summary containing the Commission's prima facie opinion under section 26(1), details of competition concerns, alleged contraventions, the commitments offered and how they address those concerns; the Commission may also publish the summary for public comment. Comments must include contact details, an authenticated statement supported by documents, a concise summary of up to four pages, and any other information assisting determination of commitment terms.
