Receiving Offices are authorized to accept applications for bonds under the Sovereign Gold Bond Scheme either by receiving applications directly from applicants or by receiving them through appointed agents, thereby defining the permitted modes of application submission and assigning initial intake responsibility to Receiving Offices.
