Absorption on deputation: eligibility requires prescribed qualifications, DPC suitability and exercised option, subject to parent department consent.

Persons appointed on deputation who fulfil the prescribed qualifications and experience and are considered suitable by the Departmental Promotion Committee become eligible for absorption into the respective grade only if they exercise the option for absorption; such absorption is also subject to there being no objection from their parent department or cadre controlling authority. Seniority of absorbed employees is determined with reference to the date of their absorption to the post concerned.
