Importers must include IIN and bond details in Bill of Entry to benefit from 2022 Customs Rules.
Importers seeking to benefit from a notification under the Customs (Import of Goods at Concessional Rate of Duty or for Specified End Use) Rules, 2022, must include their IIN and continuity bond details when filing the Bill of Entry. The Deputy or Assistant Commissioner of Customs at the import station will grant the notification's benefits. Once a Bill of Entry is cleared for home consumption, the importer's bond is automatically debited in the customs system, and the details are electronically provided to the jurisdictional Customs Officer.
