Rules of origin under trade agreements govern preferential customs duty claims on imports into India. These rules govern the administration of rules of origin under trade agreements for customs purposes. They apply to import of goods into India where the importer claims a preferential rate of duty under a trade agreement, and they came into force on 21 September 2020.
