Licensees Must Obtain Bond Officer Approval for Warehoused Goods Transfer Under Regulation 14; Ensure Proper Documentation and Security Measures
Regulation 14 of the Manufacture and Other Operations in Special Warehouse Regulations, 2020, stipulates that a licensee must obtain permission from a bond officer to transfer warehoused goods to another warehouse or customs station for export. Once permission is granted, the licensee, in the presence of the bond officer, must oversee the removal and loading of goods, affix a one-time-lock to the transport, and document the lock number on relevant forms and transport documents. The licensee must also record the removal of goods and provide copies of the documents to the bond officer.
