Investigation committee for complaints alleging misbehavior or incapacity of tribunal members initiates scrutiny and reports findings. Allegations of misbehavior or incapacity against a Member are first subject to a preliminary scrutiny by the Central Government; where further investigation is warranted, the complaint and supporting material are referred to a three member Committee for investigation of complaints (Cabinet Secretary as Chair and Secretaries of the Ministry of Corporate Affairs and Legal Affairs) which may devise its own procedure, record evidence, collect material, and submit findings to the President within a period the President may specify.
