of <h1>Quorum Needed for Creditors' or Contributories' Meeting per Companies (Winding Up) Rules, 2020; Exceptions for Adjournment Only.</h1> A meeting of creditors or contributories under the Companies (Winding Up) Rules, 2020, cannot proceed with its agenda unless a quorum is present. For a creditors' meeting, at least three creditors entitled to vote must be present or represented, unless there are fewer than three creditors in total, in which case all must be present. Similarly, for a meeting of contributories, at least three contributories must be present or represented, or all if there are fewer than three contributories. The only exception to this requirement is for the purpose of adjourning the meeting.
