Union territory GST scope expanded to include Ladakh and reflect merged Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Daman and Diu. Amendment to the Union Territory Goods and Services Tax Act replaces the territorial wording in the Act's opening provision to reflect the merger of Dadra and Nagar Haveli with Daman and Diu and to make the Act applicable to the Union territory of Ladakh, updating the territorial nomenclature and scope of applicability.
