Officers and declared family members qualify for outpatient reimbursement up to the lesser of actual expenses or one month's pay (basic pay plus dearness allowance) as on 1 January, supported by prescription and original bills; increments/promotions do not alter the limit and new joiners receive pro rata entitlement, with treatment from the Tribunal's authorised medical panel. For inpatient care, officers may use Tribunal authorised hospitals with costs (including accommodation and nursing) governed by standards equivalent to those for central government employees of comparable pay, and emergency inpatient treatment requires advice of authorised medical attendants.
