Repeal and saving: actions under prior rules are deemed to have effect under corresponding new provisions. Provision repeals the Depositories (Appeal to the Central Government) Rules, 1998 and deems anything done or any action taken under those rules to have been done under the corresponding provisions of the Depositories (Appeal to Securities Appellate Tribunal) Rules, 2000, preserving legal continuity and effects of prior acts.
