After-acquired property restriction requires prior permission and mandates disclosure to trustee for recoveries within a short period. A bankrupt must not part with any increase in income or dispose of property acquired after giving the prescribed notice without prior permission of the Adjudicating Authority. If disposal occurred before the notice, the bankrupt must, within seven days, disclose transferee details and other information to the bankruptcy trustee to enable tracing and recovery, and expenses incurred by the trustee in recovering or acquiring title constitute bankruptcy process costs.
