<h1>Creditors Must Inform Trustee of Debt Transfers During Bankruptcy; Trustee to Notify Changes Within Two Days</h1> During the bankruptcy process, if a creditor assigns or transfers a debt to another party, both the creditor and the assignee must inform the bankruptcy trustee of the terms and the identity of the assignee. The bankruptcy trustee is required to notify each creditor and the Adjudicating Authority of any changes in the creditor committee within two days of the transfer.
