Power to specify format and procedures ensures centralized e-assessment processes, electronic service, verification, storage and grievance mechanisms. The Principal Chief Commissioner or Principal Director General shall, with Board approval, set standards and procedures for National and Regional e-assessment Centres, covering electronic service and receipt of notices, acknowledgements, e-proceeding facilities with login and tracking, verification and authentication of submitted documents, centralized storage and retrieval, specified exceptions and personal hearing approval, and administration and grievance redressal mechanisms.
