of <h1>Clause 115 Amends to Exempt Uranium Ore Concentrate from Union Territory Tax Retroactively, No Refunds for Past Collections</h1> Clause 115 of the Finance (No. 2) Bill, 2019, amends notification G.S.R. 711(E) under the Union Territory Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017. It introduces a retrospective exemption for 'Uranium Ore Concentrate' from Union territory tax, effective from July 1, 2017, to November 14, 2017. The amendment allows the Central Government to retrospectively alter the notification as if it had the authority to do so at all relevant times. No refunds will be issued for taxes already collected that would not have been collected if the exemption had been in effect during that period.
