Sponsors must pay an application fee of Rs. 5,00,000, while participants pay Rs. 15,000. Depositories are required to pay a registration fee of Rs. 1,00,00,000 and an annual fee of Rs. 50,00,000. Participants pay a registration fee of Rs. 2,00,000 and an annual fee of Rs. 1,000. Additionally, depositories are charged 2% of the annual custody charges collected from issuers. These fees were amended by the SEBI (Payment of Fees) (Amendment) Regulations, 2014.
