Record integrity: depositories must secure electronic systems and maintain offsite backups to prevent loss or tampering. Regulation 37 requires a depository maintaining electronic records to preserve the integrity of its automatic data processing systems, take all precautions to prevent loss, destruction or tampering of records, and ensure sufficient back up of records is available at a different location in the event of loss or destruction.
