Parliamentary scrutiny of delegated legislation: rules must be laid and can be modified or annulled by both Houses.

Every rule made by the Central Government under the Act must be laid before each House of Parliament for a total period of thirty days (in one or successive sessions); if, before the expiry of the session immediately following that period, both Houses agree to modify or annul the rule, the rule will thereafter operate only as modified or be of no effect, without prejudice to the validity of anything previously done under that rule.
