of <h1>SEBI Regulation 8 Details Portfolio Managers' Registration Process; Includes Certificate Issuance and 2016 Amendment Updates.</h1> The Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) outlines the procedure for registering portfolio managers in Regulation 8 of the SEBI (Portfolio Managers) Regulations, 1993. The Board, upon confirming that an applicant meets the requirements specified in Regulation 6, will notify the applicant and, upon receipt of the registration fee, issue a certificate in Form B. Portfolio managers who were already registered before the 2016 amendment are considered to have been granted a certificate under the updated regulation. This regulation was amended in 2016 to update the conditions for registration.
