Renewal of certificate requires a pre-expiry application with prescribed fees and is treated like fresh registration. The prior Regulation 10 required credit rating agencies seeking renewal to apply to the Board and submit a non-refundable application fee and a renewal fee as specified in the Second Schedule, not less than three months before certificate expiry, and provided that the renewal application would, as far as may be, be dealt with in the same manner as an application for grant of a fresh certificate.
