<h1>SEBI Employees Must Disclose Assets per Lokpal Act; Notify Before Property Deals, Seek Approval for Transactions</h1> Regulation 66 of the Securities and Exchange Board of India (Employees' Service) Regulations, 2001 mandates that employees declare their assets and liabilities as per the Lokpal and Lokayuktas Act, 2013. Until specific guidelines are provided under this Act, declarations must be made as approved by the Competent Authority. Employees must notify the authority before acquiring or disposing of immovable property and report transactions involving movable property exceeding a specified value. Transactions with individuals having official dealings require prior approval. The Competent Authority may request detailed statements of property held by employees or their family members.
