Unauthorized absence or overstaying leave results in loss of pay and potential disciplinary action, with the absence possibly treated as extraordinary leave. Habitual lateness results in forfeiture of one day of casual leave for every three late arrivals in a month, with adjustments made if no casual leave is available.
