of <h1>SEBI Employees' Leave: Not a Right, Can Be Denied or Revoked Based on Service Needs Under 2001 Regulations.</h1> Leave cannot be claimed as a right under the Securities and Exchange Board of India (Employees' Service) Regulations, 2001. The authority with the power to grant leave can refuse or revoke it if required by service needs, and can recall an employee from leave if necessary for the Board's interests. Leave earned by an employee lapses upon cessation of service, unless otherwise specified. An employee on leave cannot return to duty more than 14 days before the leave period ends without permission from the granting authority.
