Regulatory enforcement: breach by an SRO or its members can trigger multiple statutory remedial actions under applicable law. Where a Self Regulatory Organization, any office-bearer or member violates provisions of the Act or these regulations, they may be subject to statutory enforcement and disciplinary measures, including action under Chapter VIA, subsection (3) of section 12, subsection (4) of section 11 and section 11B, action under section 24, and such other actions as may be permissible under the Act and appropriate on the facts.
