        Continuing professional education requirement: associated persons must meet approved CPE to remain certified and perform duties. The certification authority may specify continuing professional education (CPE) requirements and approve accredited providers and programmes. No intermediary shall permit, and no associated person shall continue to perform duties as an associated person unless the person has complied with the CPE requirements within the prescribed compliance period measured from the date of obtaining the certificate or its revalidation.
