          <h1>Certificate of registration procedure requires designated depository participant to decide within prescribed period and remit fees to the Board.</h1> The designated depository participant may grant the Form B certificate of registration if satisfied the applicant meets eligibility and regulatory requirements, and must endeavor to dispose of applications within the prescribed period after receipt or after information called under regulation 6 has been furnished. Upon grant, the DDP shall collect fees specified in Part A of the Second Schedule from the foreign portfolio investor on behalf of the Board and remit them, and either applicants or DDPs may approach the Board for instructions on grievances or interpretation.
