          <h1>Application of Criminal Procedure Code: Special Court proceedings treated as Court of Session and prosecutor deemed Public Prosecutor.</h1> The Criminal Procedure Code applies to proceedings before a Special Court, which is deemed a Court of Session, and the person conducting the prosecution is deemed a Public Prosecutor; that prosecutor must have practised as an Advocate for not less than seven years or have held, for not less than seven years, a Union or State post requiring special legal knowledge.
