International regulatory cooperation: NFRA may join global audit regulator associations and exchange investigatory assistance under Indian law. Rule 19 authorizes the National Financial Reporting Authority to join international or regional associations of independent audit regulators and standard-setters on terms it deems fit, and to provide or receive investigatory assistance to or from foreign independent audit regulators in auditor investigations, subject to terms chosen by the Authority and compliance with Indian law.
