Part-time member remuneration: fee per meeting plus travel and daily allowances at Additional Secretary rates. Part-time members receive a fixed fee for each Board meeting attended, as revised by notification, and while on tour (including travel to meetings) are entitled to travelling allowance and daily allowances at the same rates and scale as applicable to an Additional Secretary to the Government of India.
