of <h1>Customs Audit Regulations 2018 supersede 2011 rules; effective immediately as per Notification No. 45/2018-Customs (N.T.).</h1> The Customs Audit Regulations, 2018, issued by the Government of India, Ministry of Finance, Department of Revenue, under Notification No. 45/2018-Customs (N.T.), were enacted under the authority of the Customs Act, 1962. These regulations supersede the On-site Post Clearance Audit at the Premises of Importers and Exporters Regulation, 2011, except for actions already completed or omitted under the previous regulation. The new regulations are effective from their publication date in the Official Gazette.
