The chairperson must have at least 25 years of expertise in accountancy, auditing, finance, or law, while full-time members require 20 years of experience. All appointees must declare no conflicts of interest before appointment. The chairperson and full-time members cannot be associated with audit firms during their tenure and for two years afterward. Part-time members must not have financial or other interests that could affect their roles.
