Lapse of leave: accrued leave lapses on termination of service unless regulations provide otherwise. Regulation 24 provides that, except where these Regulations specifically provide otherwise, an employee's accrued leave lapses on the date the employee ceases to be in service; leave does not survive termination absent a specific regulatory exception.
