of <h1>Section 409 Amendment: Experience Requirement Changed to Rank of Secretary; 15 Years in Finance, Management, or Accountancy Needed.</h1> Section 409 of the principal Act is amended to modify sub-section (3). In clause (a), the requirement for experience in the pay scale of a Joint Secretary is replaced with a requirement for holding the rank of Secretary or Additional Secretary to the Government of India. Clause (e) is revised to specify that the individual must have proven ability, integrity, and at least fifteen years of special knowledge and professional experience in fields such as industrial finance, management, reconstruction, investment, and accountancy.
