of <h1>Interest Payable on Refunds Under Meghalaya GST Act from Payment Date to Refund Date per Section 56</h1> Under the Meghalaya Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017, if an appellant's payment made under section 107(6) or section 112(8) is refunded due to an order from the Appellate Authority or Tribunal, interest is payable on the refund. This interest accrues from the date the payment was made until the refund date, at the rate specified in section 56.
