Interest on refund: statutory interest accrues from payment until refund when appellate bodies order repayment.

Where an amount paid by the appellant for admission of appeal is required to be refunded consequent to an order of the Appellate Authority or the Appellate Tribunal, interest at the rate specified under section 56 is payable on such refund from the date of payment until the date of refund.
