Apply for Revocation Within 30 Days; Officer Must Hear You Before Rejection.</h1> Under the Meghalaya Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017, a registered person whose registration has been cancelled by the proper officer can apply for revocation of the cancellation within thirty days from the cancellation order's service date. The proper officer must consider the application and can either revoke the cancellation or reject it, but rejection cannot occur without giving the applicant an opportunity to be heard. Additionally, a revocation under the Central Goods and Services Tax Act is considered a revocation under this Act as well.
