Protection for acts done in good faith shields officials and authorised persons from civil or criminal suits under the Act. Protection from legal proceedings is provided where acts or intended acts done in good faith under the Act or its rules are insulated from suits, prosecutions and other legal proceedings. This immunity covers the President, State President, members, officers and employees of the Appellate Tribunal and any person authorised by the Tribunal, and separately covers any officer appointed or authorised under the Act for actions done or intended to be done in good faith.
