Power to collect statistics enables the commissioner to require prescribed returns and information under the GST framework. Power to collect statistics under the Delhi GST Act permits the Commissioner, by notification, to direct collection of statistics on any matter under the Act, and authorises the Commissioner or any person he appoints to require concerned persons to furnish prescribed information or returns in the prescribed form and manner.
