of <h1>Repeal of Multiple Himachal Pradesh Tax Acts Under Section 173 of GST Act 2017</h1> Section 173 of the Himachal Pradesh Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017, repeals several previous tax-related Acts effective from the commencement of this Act. These repealed Acts include the Himachal Pradesh Value Added Tax Act, 2005, except for goods in Entry 54 of the State List, the Himachal Pradesh Tax on Entry of Goods into Local Area Act, 2010, the Himachal Pradesh Tax on Luxuries (in Hotels and Lodging Houses) Act, 1979, the Himachal Pradesh Entertainments Duty Act, 1968, and the Himachal Pradesh Entertainments Tax (Cinematograph Shows) Act, 1968.
