Power to collect statistics enables commissioner to require prescribed information and returns from concerned persons following notification. The Commissioner may, by notification, direct that statistics be collected on matters connected with the Act and, thereafter, the Commissioner or an authorised person may call upon concerned persons to furnish information or returns in the prescribed form and manner relating to the notified matter.
