Interest on refund applies to amounts paid on admission of appeal, payable from date of payment until refund. Where an amount paid by an appellant for admission of appeal is required to be refunded following an order of the Appellate Authority or Appellate Tribunal, interest at the rate specified under the relevant interest provision is payable from the date of payment until the date of refund.
