Duty to assist proper officers required; designated public officers must aid GST implementation when called. Specified public servants, including Police, Railways, Customs, land revenue and village officers, central tax and Union territory tax officers, must assist proper officers in implementing the Act. The Government may notify additional classes of officers who, when called upon by the Commissioner, are required to render assistance, creating an administrative mechanism for inter-agency cooperation.
