Deemed exports allow notification of domestic supplies paid in domestic or convertible foreign exchange when manufactured in India. The Government may, on Council recommendations, notify certain supplies as deemed exports where goods do not leave India, payment is received in domestic currency or convertible foreign exchange, and the goods are manufactured in India.
