Payment obligation despite appeal: amounts ordered by appellate tribunals or High Court remain payable as per the order. Sums adjudged payable to the Government under orders of the National/Regional or State/Area Benches of the Appellate Tribunal under section 113, or under the High Court under section 117, remain payable and must be discharged in accordance with those orders notwithstanding any appeal to the High Court or the Supreme Court.
