of <h1>Goa Goods and Services Tax Act 2017 regulates intra-state supply taxation; enforced through phased notifications.</h1> The Goa Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017, known as Goa Act 4 of 2017, was enacted to regulate the levy and collection of tax on intra-State supply of goods and services within Goa. Passed by the Legislative Assembly on May 9, 2017, and assented to by the Governor on May 23, 2017, the Act extends to the entire state. The commencement date of the Act is determined by a government notification in the Official Gazette, allowing for different provisions to come into force at varying times.
