<h1>Tax Dues Installment Plan Available: Pay in Up to 24 Monthly Installments, Interest Applies Under Section 50, Conditions Apply.</h1> The Commissioner or Chief Commissioner may allow the payment of tax dues in monthly installments, up to a maximum of twenty-four, upon receiving a request. This does not apply to amounts self-assessed in returns. Interest under section 50 will be applicable, along with any prescribed limitations and conditions. If there is a default in paying any installment by its due date, the entire outstanding balance becomes immediately payable and recoverable without further notice, as per section 80.
