When there is a discrepancy between the inward supply details provided by the recipient and the outward supply details submitted by the supplier in their valid return, both parties will be notified. If the mismatch remains unresolved, the amount in question will be added to the recipient's output liability in their return for the month following the month when the discrepancy was communicated.
